Avril Lavigne has reached a confidential settlement in the lawsuit alleging she plagiarized her hit single “Girlfriend”.Seventies band The Rubinoos were claiming Avril’s track sounded mysteriously similar to their 1979 song “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend.” Avril said she had never heard the song, and her manager has consulted a musicologist who indicated no similarities between the tunes. Yeah right!
